About the event
Join us for our next aquatic invasive species survey on Wednesday, June 19th at 10am at McCrea Point / Celoron and help us keep Chautauqua Lake healthy!
This summer, our staff and volunteers are once again conducting aquatic invasive species (AIS) surveys and monitoring at various locations around Chautauqua Lake and, if any are found, reporting them to iMapInvasives and then carefully removing and disposing of them.
If you are available to volunteer for this (or any other AIS survey), please RSVP to ais@chautauquawatershed.org with your name, contact info, and date/s of the survey/s you’d like to participate in. Though participation is free, registration helps us know how many people we can expect to have on hand and better “map out” our surveys. (Please note that participants will need to bring her/her own kayak or canoe and life jacket.)
